Siberian Huskies are bred for various purposes, the main being performance in sled dog racing. Many Siberian Huskies take part in conformation shows, yet some are suited for companionship mostly. What the future prospective owners want for their Siberian Huskies should greatly influence the choice of the breeder.
It is advised to buy a puppy with a pedigree. A Siberian Husky that stems from registered parents is likely to be registered too. Purebred Siberian Huskies have a chance to compete in the majority of trials for working dogs and allow their owners to be proud of them.
Puppies that do not confirm to breed standard and are considered pet quality by their breeders are sold with spay-neuter contract. Spaying/Neutering a Siberian Husky will exclude it from a show ring but it will in no way influence the dog's qualities. A spayed/neutered Siberian Husky will make a wonderful companion and will delight its owners.
Whatever the quality of your Siberian Husky is, the puppy should come with written papers that confirm its good health and vaccinations done by the breeder. The breeder should also supply you with information on feeding the puppy and assist you in the future. Only a close interaction of the breeder and the owner will help to overcome some difficulties when raising Siberian Huskies.
